TEXOMA (KFDX/KJTL) — Passengers accounted for 24% of deaths in car crashes in 2020 in both Texas and the US, according to the National Road Safety Foundation.


In response, the NRSF has established January 20 through January 27 as National Passenger Safety Awareness Week, hopefully lowering that number.
